This is how AI thinks we look, but we’re actually a little fatter and happier. 🙂 Gary and I have lived here in Pine, Colorado for 20 years, running our crafts business in the basement of our mountain house.
For almost that whole time, we’ve been having conversations that begin with, “Ya know what we need up here? We need….”
- …local social media, the kind that’s nanny-free and isn’t data mining us.
- …a directory of local businesses with directions and hours + deals / specials.
- …a way for locals to easily buy / sell our goods and services to one another.
- …a calendar of local events and a way to list one’s own events.
- a roster of locally available courses and a way to offer courses, locally or online.
- Delivery… of everything.
So now we’re building that, starting with social media and the directory. It’s called Up the Mountain Online. If you live anywhere along the Hwy 285 corridor southwest of Denver, you’re welcome to set up your free membership and enjoy socializing with your fellow locals, enjoying one another’s freely expressed opinions, while we build out the site.
